I haven’t posted for a while because I wanted this blog to be a more than just a place for me to sound off. The whole purpose was to be a forum for God to be able to speak through me. I’m way past the point of trying to understand that, I’m just making myself available. I believe this is what God is speaking to me in this hour.

Power…It’s something everyone, at one time or another, has desired. I suppose that’s why people enjoy watching or reading about super hero’s. Who hasn’t thought about how great it would be to be one of the Avengers? Whether it’s physical power, financial power, social power and yes, even political power, the drive to be influential is compelling, intoxicating and in some instances addictive and destructive.

Sometimes power can be imitated or even fabricated but, in those instances it can be proven fake and false. Sometimes it exists only in the mind of the one proclaiming to have it. But, when real power is exhibited, when you see it, feel it, experience it, it cannot be denied or brushed aside. You may not agree with it, you may even hate it, but the evidence leaves you unable to deny what you have witnessed.

In the 4th chapter of Acts, the religious elite were faced with his very situation. The lame man who they had passed day after day on their way to be religious now stood before them on two sound, sturdy legs. The man that they thought they were rid of, was even now confronting them with the same power he had exhibited before they crucified him, only now being manifested through his disciples. Verse 14 says that when they saw the man standing before them there was nothing they could say or do, the evidence was undeniable. They didn’t like it, and in all likelihood hated it, but the only conclusion to be made was the power of God had been manifested. In chapter 5, a Pharisee named Gamaliel old them this. If this is from God, like it or not, you will not stop it. If you try, you will find ourselves fighting God. (My paraphrase). He understood this truth that when God releases his power, it cannot be stopped, delayed or in any way explained away.. It is undeniable.

In the last few months, I’ve witnessed this first hand. I’ve seen people get out of wheelchairs, come to a service using a walker and leave carrying it. I was out ministering with a group of people, not preachers or ministers, just common everyday people, passing out food and praying with people. Some of our group were sharing Jesus with a family when a demonic spirit began to manifest through a young women. They prayed, cast the spirit out and led the whole family to Christ. When they were finished, the young woman left the room and returned with a candle. She took a charm bracelet off, handed it and the candle to the people who had prayed for her and these were her words. “ I burned the candle and wore the bracelet to ward off evil spirits, but I don’t need them anymore. I don’t know if you realize it or not, but what you just did for me is real, and I am free.” How? Through the undeniable power of God.

This is the hour we live in. The power of evil is evident, it makes no effort to hide itself. People are hungry, searching for hope and truth and the world has nothing to offer them but more misery, despair and suffering. They need real tangible, undeniable proof that God is real, and that He loves them.

Here’s the good part, the good news. GOD IS MOVING!!! The same power that put strength in a lame man’s legs is at work today. All that God’s looking for is people, vessels who are Willing to be dispensers of that power. If you are born again, THAT POWER IS INSIDE OF YOU! You are the one He desires to release his power through. Don’t tell me you don’t qualify. if you say that, then you are accusing him of lying. You qualify because the same resurrection power that brought Jesus out of the grave is in you. (Rom. 8:11) All it takes is a willingness to be used, preparing to be used, and faith to believe that God will use you. You don’t merit it, you can’t earn it, you simply access it and the dispense it. YOU ARE THE ACTIVATION POINT! You are the release point for Holy Ghost power. You simply dispense what you have already been supplied with.

Ever answer for life God has already spoken, every solution to every problem and circumstance already created, provision for every physical, material, emotional or spiritual need already supplied. It is your willingness, your preparation, your faith that activates what God has. Already declared for you, and for others. I heard a preacher say recently “the church has been waiting for God to show up, and God was been waiting for the church to rise up.”

This what the world needs, undeniable proof that God is real . You don’t have to prove it, explain it, or justify it. Just activate what you have been given. God will move, and no one will be able to deny it. they may not like it, and they will probably even hate it, but the fact that the miracle working power of God has been activated will be undeniable.
